Fire Fighting Procedures

Extinguishant: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical, foam, and water.

Suitable extinguishing media: Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.

Advice for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus for firefighting if necessary.

If material on fire or involved in fire: Use water in flooding quantities as fog. Solid streams of water may be ineffective. Use "alcohol" foam, dry chemial or carbon dioxide. Cool all affected containers with flooding quantities of water. Apply water from as far a distance as possible.
