Fire Fighting Procedures

Suitable extinguishing media: Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
Advice for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus for firefighting if necessary.
Use water spray to cool unopened containers.
To fight fire, use /carbon dioxide/, dry chemical, or water spray.
Approach fire from upwind to avoid hazardous vapors and toxic decomposition products. Explosive decomposition may occur under fire conditions. Fight fire from protected location or maximum possible distance. Stop flow of gas before extinguishing fire. Use flooding quantities of water as spray. DO NOT use halogenated extinguishing agents. Use water spray to keep fire-exposed container cool.
