Fire Fighting Procedures

Use water spray, dry chemical, alcohol foam or carbon dioxide. Use water to keep fire-exposed containers cool. If leak or spill has not ignited, use water spray to disperse vapors and to provide protection for men attempting to stop leak. Water spray may be used to flush spills away from exposures.
If material /is/ on fire or involved in /a/ fire do not extinguish fire unless flow can be stopped. Use water in flooding quantities as fog. Solid streams of water may spread fire. Cool all affected containers with flooding quantities of water. Apply water from as far a distance as possible. Use "alcohol" foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
